How Many Days Do I Need in Shanghai?
It takes about three days to play in Shanghai. First of all, you can find a place to live after you go, preferably in the city center, so that it is convenient to go anywhere. If there are more than two people, it is not recommended to stay in a hotel, it is good to find a hostel, it is very good near Xintiandi, a few people book a hostel, and it is very convenient to bring a living room. Last time I stayed in a hostel called City Harajuku, and I had a good experience.
Don’t play too hard on the first day after staying, no, and then you don’t have the strength to continue playing for two days. It is suggested to play some mild ones first, try some delicious food and have a look at the scenery. Old City God Temple tourist area (2 hours, a lot of delicious food fried, soup buns, Xiaolongbao, braised pork, white chopped chicken.); Yu Garden (1 hour, Jiangnan classical garden, built in the Ming Dynasty Jiajing, Wanli); Nanjing Road pedestrian Street and people’s Square (3 hours, enjoy shopping friends, no money can also look at the buildings of this street, very distinctive and feeling); The Bund (2 hours, must see Shanghai, it is best to go at night, the night view is more beautiful, you can take a cruise to see the river view).
Play hard the next day, if living near Xintiandi is very comfortable, the most interesting places around are very close. Chinese Art Palace (2 hours to nurture a little artistic sentiment); Tian Zifang (2 hours, you can take your wallet without your wallet, but please bring your camera, and you will know it); Shanghai Xintiandi (2 hours, eat and eat mode, many star shops and art bookstores, coffee shops, chocolate shops, as well as the classic Shikumen house and old Shanghai-style lanes); Xintiandi Bar Street (3 hours, a lot of foreigners, there are people specially to see foreigners, you can also see a band performance, you can also release free style as you like).
For a relaxing tour on the third day, Madame Tussauds and the ancient town of Nanxiang are both good choices. Buy some Shanghai specialties, and then adjust your status and go home.
How Much Does It Cost to Go to Shanghai for a Few Days?
The price level in Shanghai is still quite high. I spent 8 days and 7 nights in Shanghai, using about 6000-7000.
Traffic. I started from Hong Kong and the round trip air ticket is about 700 yuan. Because I got off the plane at Pudong Airport, I took the maglev train, which was about 50 yuan. It is basically enough to charge 100 yuan for a traffic card. It seems to cost 20 yuan to buy a card, which can be refunded. The fare of the subway is not expensive. Because friends do not like to take the bus, so some places that are difficult to find or have to go for a long time will take a taxi. There is a difference in taxi fares between the urban area and the suburbs (in fact, I don’t know if it is the suburbs), and the suburbs will be cheaper. Anyway, the starting price of my taxi in Pudong seems to be a little cheaper, which vaguely seems to start at 12 yuan.
Accommodation. My friend and I went there and found two places, both of which were found on airbnb, one in Zhou Pudong and the other in Dapu Bridge. There is a big difference between the two places. Mainly because we planned to go to Disneyland the next day, we chose Zhou Pudong, which is closer to Disney (Disney is in the suburbs). On the other side of impression Life Square, the house is very comfortable and the price is good, about 200 yuan per person per night, probably because it is relatively far away from the urban area, so the price is not expensive. As for the residence in Dapu Bridge is near the Sun and Moon Center, it is a very old house. There is no elevator, so I can only take the stairs, and it is very steep. I am tired when I go up to the third floor with my luggage. My aunt on the second floor also keeps a dog that bites when she sees anyone. I am afraid of going up and down the stairs every time. The environment is also very comfortable, but there are still Xiaoqiang occasionally. I can’t. There’s a restaurant downstairs. But the house is located in the alley, and I feel scared when I go back every night (my friends and I are all girls). There are no lights in the dark, and we are all lit by flashlights with our cell phones on. But this time the accommodation is closer to the city, the Sun and Moon Center has a lot of delicious ducks!
Scenic spot tickets. Tickets to scenic spots in Shanghai are both expensive and cheap. Tickets for the Oriental Pearl Tower and the financial center are more than 100 each. The Yuyuan Garden and the City God Temple add up to about 50 yuan. I didn’t go to the aquarium, so I don’t know the price. There is also a night trip on the Huangpu River, which costs about 200 yuan. Disneyland is about 300. The museum is about 20 yuan? The tickets for the exhibition hall of the former World Expo also seem to be 30 to 50 yuan (the actual number has been forgotten). The ticket for the Science and Technology Museum is 30 yuan, and another 20 yuan for watching a 4D documentary. I don’t say much about souvenirs. After all, not everyone wants to buy them. I also took a sightseeing bus, about 100 yuan. The cathedral in Xuhui doesn’t seem to have tickets.
diet. I don’t think I ate very well. Breakfast is all casual. Just have a McDonald’s. The famous Xiaolongbao must be eaten! In Jiajia soup buns, there is a cage of Xiaolongbao for 12 to 16 yuan! Delicious! I can eat three cages by myself. Can add one yuan to a shredded ginger, accompanied by Xiaolongbao to eat the real best in the world. There is also Xiao Yang raw fried, 2 yuan to 4 yuan a raw fried (the most common), a little more expensive seems to have 6 yuan, almost forgot . Coffee shops in Shanghai are a little expensive. A cup of caramel milk costs 28RMB, which is even more expensive than drinking in Hong Kong. One night I went to eat Xinjiang food (Yeri Xiali). Two people ate four dishes, about 200 yuan, but it was really delicious! Sweet soup attracts my heart the most. After that, I ate a few hot pot meals and went to a modest one. The waiter had a good attitude, but it was a little expensive and the food was not full. It cost more than 160 yuan (per person). In addition, I also bought a lot of Butterfly Cookies from international restaurants, which is simply not too delicious. There are sweet and salty ones. You can buy four large pieces for 28 yuan, each of which is the size of a palm. And Butterfly Cookies in a gift box. However, Butterfly Cookies has to finish eating in 7 days. If you want to keep it for a long time, buy a gift box.
If you don’t want to go on a shopping spree, in fact, I think 4000 to 5000 yuan is enough to play. Go to Lu Xun Park, take a walk on Tian’ai Road, buy some snow cream in Tianzifang, buy a cup at Disney’s flagship store, and buy some pear cream sugar and yogurt in Yuyuan Garden. 5000 yuan is definitely enough. Of course, it’s another thing if you want to buy a famous brand. Take as much as you have. Welcome to Shanghai!
I’m Going to Shanghai for Four to Five Days. Will 5000 Yuan Be Enough?
No matter how you calculate it, as long as you don’t set too high standards for hotels and meals, I think it’s enough. I can make a list of the main expenses for the trip for you:
First, hotel fees:
No matter where you travel, the hotel fee is one of the major expenses of the trip. Hotel fees in Shanghai will be significantly higher than those in other second-and third-tier cities. For example:
Budget hotels such as Hanting and Jinjiang Star can stay for more than 100 yuan in many cities, but at least 200 yuan in Shanghai.
Mid-range hotels, such as All Seasons, cost more than 200 yuan in many cities, but at least more than 400 yuan in Shanghai.
Don’t think about the five-star hotel.
With your current budget, I suggest staying in an economy hotel, so the cost for 4 nights is about 1000 yuan.
It should be noted that because so many business people come to Shanghai for business in the middle of the week, the price of the hotel in the middle of the week is higher than that on the weekend, while the cost of going to Shanghai for the weekend is lower.
Second, the cost of meals:
If you spend 4-5 days in Shanghai, you will have to eat about 10 dinners. The price range of food in Shanghai is too wide, ranging from 10 or 20 yuan to thousands of yuan.
If it is calculated according to 50 yuan for a meal, the cost of eating is 500 yuan. And 50 yuan can already eat good food.
Third, ticket fees:
Shanghai is a city. In fact, going to Shanghai is more about enjoying the international scenery of Shanghai. In fact, even if you don’t go to any scenic spots that collect tickets, you can have a good time. For example, a walk on the Bund, a walk on Nanjing Road, a look around Yuyuan Garden and a visit to the old French concession are all free.
Here I would like to list the main admission hotels in Shanghai:
- 1. Shanghai Central Building (Shanghai’s highest peak): 180 yuan per person
- 2. Shanghai Disneyland: 370 yuan per person (peak ticket price: 499 yuan per person)
- 3. Yuyuan Garden: 30 yuan per person.
Therefore, if you play in Shanghai, you can play without tickets, even if you play hard with tickets, you can’t play with thousands of yuan.
Fourth, transport expenses:
According to the first three items I have just calculated, it is only 2500 yuan at most. You still save a lot. Even if you fly to and from Shanghai from the distant border of your motherland, there will be enough money. If the traffic from which you start is more developed, it will be even cheaper if you take a high-speed train or train.
In short, 5000 yuan is more than enough to play in Shanghai for 4-5 days. Don’t say 5000, you give me 2000, not including round-trip transportation, I can also have a good time.
