Especially in summer, the average summer temperature in Guiyang is 23.2 ℃, the highest temperature is between 25 ℃ and 28 ℃, and the lowest temperature is between 17 ℃ and 20 ℃. The number of days with the highest temperature higher than 30 degrees Celsius is less, and the ultraviolet intensity is weak. In the selection of "Top Ten Summer tourist cities in China" in 2006, Guiyang topped the list with "the advantage of average temperature comfort in summer, especially in the hottest month". Among the eight hard indicators of seven major organizations, such as the United Nations Asia-Pacific Organization, the climate comfort of Guiyang accounts for a large proportion.

Rain Water is abundant in summer in Guiyang, about 500mm, and the precipitation at night accounts for 70% of the annual precipitation. The dry and wet season is not obvious. Guiyang's heavy industry is basically far away from the urban area, the urban pollution is light, the number of days of mild pollution throughout the year is few, and the air quality is good. No haze weather occurs, the air is fresh, pleasant and comfortable.

The average number of annual lightning days in Guiyang is 49.1 days. Lightning electrolysis of water vapor in the air produces more negative oxygen ions. At the same time, Guiyang City has a forest belt around the city with complete vegetation, which is known as the "forest city". The forest belt around the city also provides abundant negative oxygen ions. the content of negative oxygen ions in the air of the scenic spot is high, with an average of more than 2700 per cubic centimeter, more than several times the normal value, ranking in the forefront of all famous scenic spots in the country.
