Liupanshui City is located in the west of Guizhou Province, located at the junction of Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi, close to the world-famous Huangguoshu Waterfall.

a. Train
The Gui-Kun railway passes through Liupanshui, where trains from many places to Kunming stop.
Both Guiyang and Anshun have trains to Liupanshui. The city special train from Guiyang to Liupanshui leaves Guiyang every morning and returns to Guiyang from Liupanshui in the afternoon; the one-way journey takes only 3 hours and 20 minutes, and the ticket price is 35 yuan.
Liupanshui Railway Station is located on Shuixi Road, Zhongshan District.
b. Long-distance passenger transport
It is very convenient from Guiyang and Anshun to Liupanshui. Guiyang to Panxian 349 kilometers, from Guiyang bus station, bus three direct to Panxian sleeper bus, take 320 national highway, travel for 10 hours, nearly ten trains a day, the ticket price is 50 yuan per person. There are also many cars from Weining to Liupanshui, from 8: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m., and the ticket price is about 20 yuan.
The bus station in Liupanshui City is located in Shuicheng people's Middle Road, and there are buses sent to all parts of the province.
Some of the buses are as follows:
- Liupanshui-Guiyang (via Zhuzang Town), 09:40. The express runs every hour, but it doesn't pass through Zhuzang town.
- Liupanshui-Bijie, 07:00, 08:00, 14:00, 16:00.
- Liupanshui-Zhaotong, Yunnan, 07:30, 07:00, 08:00.
- Liupanshui-Weining, once an hour, the ticket price is 15 yuan, two and a half hours' journey.

The main urban areas of Liupanshui are Shuicheng County and Zhongshan District, with many mountains, so just let the driver know when you want to get off by minibus. There are buses no. 1 to 15 in the city with a ticket price of 1 yuan. You can take bus No. 5 or No. 6 to the railway station, walk for more than 10 minutes under the Post and Telecommunications Building or Zhongshan District people's Hospital, and you can also take bus No. 14 and No. 15.
