Liupanshui has the highest elevation of 2845.7 meters and the lowest elevation of 586meters, which is a typical karst landform.

There are Wumengshan National Geopark, Yushe National Forest Park, Ski Resort, Yeyuhai, Yezhong Black Leaf Monkey Nature Reserve, Dadong Ancient Human site in Panxian County, Panxian Conference site of the 26th Red Army, Xinmin Fish Dragon fossil Group in Panxian County, Tuole Ancient Ginkgo Biloba, Dadong Bamboo Sea, Slope grassland, Ale River and many other scenic spots, natural and cultural landscapes.

"Wumeng Mountain National Geopark" covers an area of more than 380 square kilometers, with the world's "largest sinkhole", the world's "deepest shaft", the world's "tallest highway natural bridge", the Beipan River Grand Canyon, an underground karst cave, a plateau Buddha light, karst landforms, stone forest peaks, ancient ichthyosaur fossils and ancient human sites.

At the same time, there are Beipan River, Huanghe River, Azhi River, Moon River and many alpine wetlands.

Famous scenic spots

Yushe National Forest Park(玉舍国家森林公园)

Yushe National Forest Park is the first national AAAA scenic spot in Liupanshui City. The park is located in Shuicheng County, located in the upper reaches of the Pearl River system, and is the highest forest park in Guizhou.

The park is 30km away from Liupanshui city, with convenient transportation, Shuibai railway and two water lines to reach the scenic spot.

Yushe National Forest Park, formerly known as Yushe State Forest Farm in Shuicheng County, was approved as a provincial forest park in 2001 and a national forest park in 2003.

Minghu National Wetland Park(明湖国家湿地公园)

Minghu National Wetland Park, located in the west of Liupanshui city center, is a new landmark building at the west exit of Liupanshui City. Minghu Wetland Park is the first national wetland park in Guizhou Province.

The clear lake is connected with the natural mountains on the west side, and the 1.13-kilometer-long Rainbow Bridge stands above the clear lake like a fluttering ribbon.

On October 8, 2013, Minghu Lake in Liupanshui, Guizhou Province officially passed the pilot acceptance of the State Forestry Administration, officially becoming the first national wetland park in Guizhou Province to be officially licensed.
